God's Children are Righteous by Faith
“By faith, Noah being divinely warned of things NOT yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark… and became heir of the righteousness, which is…[by] faith” (Heb 11:7, NKJV). “…Faith is the… conviction of things NOT seen” (Heb 11:1, NASB). Likewise, Abraham, when Isaac asked: “We have the fire and the wood, …but where is the sheep for the burnt offering?” [Abraham replied], “God will provide a sheep for the burnt offering…” (Gen 22:7-8, NLT). Such faith believes God and acts on His Word without wavering “…at the promise of God through unbelief…” (Rom 4:19-20, NKJV). Faith in God that leads to obedience is righteousness. “…Believe in… God and you will be established…” (2 Chron 20:20, NKJV). “It is God who enable us… to stand firm for Christ…” (2 Cor 1:21, NLT). “…But for those who reject Him, …He is the stone that makes people stumble..., because they do NOT obey God’s word…” (1 Pet 2:7-8, NLT). “Don’t… waste… time in endless discussions…, which don’t help people live a life of faith in God” (1 Tim 1:4, NLT), but rather “…believing… God…, [see His promise] from a distance and welcome it” (Heb 11:13, NLT). “…He who sat on the throne said, ‘…I make all things new.’ …These words are true and faithful” (Rev 21:5, NKJV).
