God is the Creator (Gen 1:1), Lover (John 3:16), and Redeemer (Isa 41:14; 43:14; 44:24; 54:5; 59:20). As the Redeemer, He offered redemption—restoration—through Christ. “…God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them…” (2 Cor 5:19; Isa 53:5-12, NKJV); and He “…has set apart the redeemed for Himself…” (Pss 4:3, TLB); therefore, “all who claim [Him] as their God will come [to Him], for… [He] made them for [His] glory…” (Isa 43:7, TLB). “…Have respect for God. Give Him glory…. Worship Him…” (Rev 14:7, NIRV). “…It’s not where we worship that counts, but how we worship! Is our worship spiritual and real? Do we have the Holy Spirit’s help? For God is Spirit and we must have his help to worship as we should. The Father wants this kind of worship from us” (John 4:24, TLB).
