Guard your mind, and be careful about where you place your affections. “Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth” (Col 3:2, NKJV). “…Ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see His invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature. So they have NO excuse for not knowing God. …But they wouldn’t worship Him as God or even give Him thanks. …As a result, their minds became dark and confused. Claiming to be wise, they… became fools; …they worshiped idols…; so God abandoned them….” All who “…traded the truth about God for a lie …worshiped and served the things God created…; [hence]; God abandoned them to their shameful desires…,” which not only includes same sex, sexual activities, but also “…every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, …gossip, …[backstabbing, hating God, insolence, pride, … boastfulness, invention of] new ways of sinning…, [disobedience to… parents and encouraging] others to do them…” (Rom 1:20-21, 23-32, NLT). If this describes you, turn to God before it’s too late, when He will say to you: “…I never knew you; depart from me, you who practice lawlessness” (Matt 7:23, NKJV), “…workers of iniquity” (Luke 13:27, NKJV)!
